Stop Error

I get the 0x0000001E KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED Stop
error. I have tried everyting suggested on the Technet
side. Latest BIOS flashed, tried to boot in Safe mode
(does not work) still get the Stop screen. I was able to
boot from the W2K CD and get to the repair console. I
have not looked at the boot log to see where it hangs up.

I got this error after trying to install a USB connection
update-sj630en.exe from the HP drivers web site for the
ScanJet 6300C.

Any ideas?? Thanks

Did you tried "Last known good configuration"?
