STOP: ERROR MESSAGE

I just bought a new dell 8400 with window xp home edition
and was trying to upgrade to window xp pro, I got this
stop error message. "STOP: 0X000C2
(0X0000007,0X00000CD4,0X00340045,0XE17C211C)". Can
someone please tell me what this means and how to go
about to solve this problem.

Thanks Will, I have seen the descriptions of the problem,
but do not see any easy way of getting out of this
headache. I'm just stock in the middle of this
upgrade /setup, about 34 minutes is left before complete
installation. I can't reboot in any safe mode because xp
can't continue in safe mode. I can't even uninstall
either. Please is there any easy way out of this mess. I
just bought this system and I have not installed any
driver or software.
