stop error message

when i try to shutdown or restart xp pro i get a black
screen that says

driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
stop:0x000000d1
(0z0000002b,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xf8876941)
kbdclass.sys - address f8876941 base at f8876000,
date stamp 3d6ddad3

and the computer freezes until i hit the power button.


i have searched the knowledge database and all i can find
that looks similar is an article for logitech mouseware.
but i don't have a logitech mouse and never have. the
only logitech hardware i have is a logitech internet
keyboard which i have had for several years prior to this
message appearing last month. anyone know how to fix
this problem and what might be causing it
