stop error/corrupt driver

On 8/12 I downloaded and installed the MS Blaster worm
virus patch. The next time I booted up, a blue screen stop
error came up advising that serious error had occurred and
a minidump had occurred. It advised running the "driver
verifier" to reveal the corrupt driver. (How do I find the
driver verifier and what do I do with it?) Thereafter, a
MS error analysis stated that software sometimes includes
a driver so I might try removing the virus patch....how
does one remove a patch? Thanks......

From the Start menu, click run and type sigverif and hit
ok. This will run a program to check for unsigned files.

If it is an XP patch, if you remember the number of the
Hotfix, you go to Add/Remove software from the Control
Panel, and scroll down to the Windows XP Hotfixes, and
remove the one you want.
