Stop error 0x0000008E (plus other stuff)

I regularly get this stop error and would appreciate any help in resolving it.

0x0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XBF9F3F0F, 0XB4C84734, 0X00000000)
nv4_disp.dll address BF9F3F0F base at BF9D4000

I have used Microsoft's Windows Diagnostic Tool to check my PC memory and it has
reported no faults.

Hi Johannes,

That problem is somewhat common. It concerns the nVidea driver. Some have
had success by switching video drivers. If you are using the MS version, try
the nVidea. If you are already using the nVidea version, try the MS
version.
