my computer shuts down by itself and then go to a blue
screen that gives this error message:

stop 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0x8059ba8f, 0xeb976adc,
0x00000000)

can someone help me.

Hi John,

Flawed or mismatched ram usually. If you want to check the memory, there is
a free program here:
http://www.simmtester.com/page/products/doc/download.asp

But keep in kind that a thorough test can only be done with test equipment
at a computer shop.

can someone help me.

Bad hardware is a possibility; likely candidates are RAM & motherboard.
I've been having a similar problem and from running a utility called
"DocMemory" (www.simmtester.com), I now suspect I've got a bad DIMM. I'm
going to see if I can find another RAM-testing utility to verify
DocMemory's result, then play around with the two DIMMs in my system to
see if I can nail down which one it is (i.e. remove one, run test, swap
with other one, run test, see which one causes failure or if they both
do).

Then I've got an excuse to buy more memory :).
