Stop calendar being archived

How do I STOP the Outlook 2007 Calendar from being archived on a permanent
basis?

I have set the Caendar NOT to be archived but when I archive Personal
Folders, Calendar is included in the archive and wipes my appointments (when
I drag/drop the archived appointments back to Active calendarit creates
duplicates and then I have to go through and edit them out - pain in rear!)

HELP!

if the appointment is archived, dragging it back won't create duplicates -
it either was archived and removed from the folder or copied to the archive.

Use the By Category view to look for appointments, not Day/Week/Month.
