Merging archived caledar data into active calendar

Weird! I am certain I had my Outlook 2007 Calendar flagged NOT to be
archived but for some reasdon that setting was changed and the calendar
archived. With it went both past and future appointments that I needed to
keep.

I have now reset thje flag for the current Calendar - without all the
past/future data - to NOT be archived.

I havve access to both the current and archived calendar and can view them
side by side but I really want to MERGE the archived data into the current
calendar.

I HAVE tried -successfully - dragging archived appointments and events
across to the current calendar but it is SO time comsuming!

Is thert a FAST. EASY way to 'batch merge' ALL archived data into the
current calendar?

switch to the by category view in the archive folder then select all, drag
and drop to your regular calendar (or use the edit move to folder command)
