Hello
I have several computers all of them configured in a Windows 2003
Active Directory structure. Last week I get this stop message in a
Windows XP computer:
STOP: C000028 (registry file failure)
C:\systemboot\system32\config\SECURITY
or its log or alternate
It is corrupt, absent or not writable.
I can't boot in safe mode, nor reinstall XP. Error
occurs on reboot.
On manday the client says there is another Windows Xp computer with the
same message.
Is there any recourse? Can I reconstruct or repair this
file? Because Windows doesn't start, how can I run a
registry repair tool?
I need also an explination to give to the client. I don´t know
Thanks,
Jose
