Stop autoformatting in cell

Hi, I've looked everywhere - please help.

When entering information in a cell, such as "PIgnarson", how can I
stop Excel automatically changing it to "Pignarson". It is driving me
crazy.

ps: I am using MS Excel 2000, 9.0.3821 SR-1 on a Windows XP Home
computer.

Tools>Auto Corect Options-Exceptions.

Go to Tools/Autocorrect and deselect Correct TWo INitial CApitals

That might be a bit drastic, unless you want this to apply to ALL text.
I would use "Exceptions"
