Lose the caps - it's considered yelling, is incredibly rude and makes your
posts very hard to read.

Try to boot into safe mode (reboot then tap F8 repeatedly just after post
boot) and restore the system to an earlier date. If you can't get into safe
mode choose "Last Known Good Configuration" from the "Advanced Options
Menu."

Thanks for the reply....I have already tried the things you
suggested...no luck though.

You might try using the "Recovery Console" but you probably will need to do
a repair install of XP and this will require reinstalling all WIndows
updates if you haven't slipstreamed SP2 on the disc (either way it's
probably best to enter the recovery console and run chkdsk /r.)

NOTE: from http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm
"Stop 0x7E: A system thread generated an exception which the error handler
did not catch. There are numerous individual causes for this problem,
including hardware incompatibility, a faulty device driver or system
service, or some software issues"
