Stop: 0X0000007F message when trying to install XP Pro

I'm receiving a message: STOP: 0X0000007F (0X0000000D,
0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000) when trying to
install XP Pro on a new system. Tried moving a 256MB
memory module from one slot to another. No change.
