Hello all,
I'm getting quite desperate. During installation of XP the installation BSOD's with STOP error 0x00000050 just after the first reboot.
This happens *every* time at the same place/time.
What I've done so far is
* Reformatted HDD (lowlevel + WinXP installation way of format (both)
* Tested with different versions of XP (Pro, Home(sp1)
* Replaced RAM twice (not faulty but all suggestions so far pointed me to RAM failures
* Replaced HDD (bought a brand new (despite the fact the other hdd was about 3months old)
* Replaced Motherboard (replaced a MSI 875 Neo with Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
All installation attempts has been made with a minimum of components (ie no sound/lancard etc)
My rig (as it's configured during install)
Asus P4C800-E Delux
512Mb Kingston Hyper
1 WD 36/10k HD
Powercolor Radeon 9800pro
I fresh out of options, any help/suggestions are highly appreciated
Regard
Jako
