If you could part with a bit more information, you might get some help. How
are you connected? Dial-up, DSL, do you have a modem, an account, virus
protection?
Rightclick the Command Prompt icon on the start menu, and click 'run as
administrator'
Run the command:
regsvr32 vbscript
Restart and try the stock quotes.
