still slooow boot :-((

Hi
It game after a reinstall of xp-pro (which is fully updated and hotfixed again).
What to do about it ???
I have tryed to shot down all starting programs with msconfig
reinstalled the grafic-drivers
but still that sloooow boot
the 3 blue dots run round an' round (slowly 23 times)
then a black screen 30 seconds
then everything works well

my PC: 2.2 MHz, 512 Mb RAM . . .

Has anyone told you to try uninstalling your video driver and rebooting? If
not, try it and install a default ugly driver and see if the problem goes
away. If it does, then find a newer xp driver for your video card. This
has been the case for MANY systems reporting your trouble - but there are
other drivers and causes too - so this is just my first and most likely
guess.
