Need to p/u where we left off... LEM???

My Volume Control thread is back on page 9, soon to be page 10... has all

Go BACK to that thread and post this. Starting a new thread is
useless because the people who have been replying do NOT use the
interface you are using... we don't have pages.

Please respond in your original thread so people who answered you can
find you again.
Please skip references to "page 9" etc, as most here do not use that
web interface you are using, so we do not have "pages"

You will get a far better experience of newsgroups if you use a proper
newsreader instead of that slow and quirky web interface you are
using.

Your last thread ended up being a bit disjointed.

Are you still unable to find Run on the Start Menu?
Were you able to open a Command Prompt window?
Were you able to find sndvol32.ex_ in C:\i386 and expand it?
How much of Malke's malware cleaning advice did you actually follow?

Your "new problem" of getting the error message

Error Loading C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\6.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL

most likely is because you had installed the "MyWebSearch" toolbar and
whatever antimalware application you ran uninstalled part of it but not
all of it.

Why don't you summarize in detail what you've actually done and what the
current symptoms are.

***ATTN: LEM***
Am near fire in Riverside Co., CA... asthma, trouble breathing, etc.. - will
write back in a few days. Thanks for your help. Debbie
