Still having problems with media player 10

I'm still having problems with media player 10. Do I have to change the
settings on my media player to burn my cd's so I can play them on a cd player
or in my car and not just on my computer or dvd player. I did just about
everything in the help menu.

Some older CD players will not play CD-Rs. Something to do with the laser
color. If it works on your DVD player it is probably recorded ok. One other
warning. Very few CD or DVD players will play MP3 or WMA data CDs. They can
only play CDAs, normal music CDs.

I tried using different cd's but it still's come out the same. Is there a way
that I can change my settings so the disk can finalize or do I have to
download the plugins to help fix the problem.
