Still can't reset chips.

I have a C82 printer, I was resetting chips with the home made circuit
drived by the SSC program.
The yellow cartridge went ok, others not.
Then I discovered that a diode was disconnected from my circuit. I
resoldered it, nothing to do.
I was suggested in resetting chips with a common hardware resetter. I tried,
same problem.

Moreover I discovered that putting yellow chip in blue or black or magenta
cartridge, printer still say that yellow is ok.
That means that in the chip there are same bytes describing color and
printer.

I think that these bytes could have damaged, but the resetter doesn't
restore they.
Or the chip could have burned.

What could I do? Is there a program that restores the entire chip's content?

Please help me, thanks,bye.

Having read about all your problems, it seems that the best solution
would be for you to purchase a Canon which does not have chipped
cartridges.

I would suggest trying to find some discarded cartridges for this
printer (I am sure many are just tossed away by many people) and
exchange the chips with new ones from other empty cartridges.

These cartridges are incinerated rather than refilled in most cases, so
try going to a store which collects the used cartridges and see if you
can get them to give you either the empty cartridges, or at least the
chips from some that were discarded.

The chips sit on the surface of the cartridge. They are not integrated
into the cartridge in any manner. They are just attached by a few
plastic welds, so you can exchange them quite easily.
