Sticky Key Prompt

My Sony Vaio has been prompting me to respond to the following message
"The function key has been pressed 5 times. Choose to enable or disable sticky key." I have turned off sticky key option under control panel and accessability. Does anyone know why this started happening all of a sudden? Thanks.

It's not just enough to uncheck Use Sticky Keys - also go to the Settings
button adjacent to it, uncheck the Use Shortcut
