stdole2 problems

Hi:
I have a workstation running Windows 2000 SP4 and Office 2000. After
installing last office 2000 update (SP3), if I try to open a Excel file with
macros, I get a "I can't find stdole2 or the file is corrupted" message. A
similar problem arises when I try to create a Access Macro. It seems a
problem with visual basic for applications or something like that.
Any idea?
