status bar, update

When starting cpu(win 2000) I get message all timers
halted then timer 2 activated, timer 3 activated and so
on, it is hard to get rid of. Please help

This doesn't appear to be related to Windows Update, but if it is, please
post more details. If it's not a Windows Update issue, please post to the
Windows 2000 general newsgroup, news://microsoft.public.win2000.general,
