Status bar missing from IE6

The entire status bar seems to be missing from my IE6. All
the security patches and service packs have been
installed. I've tried restarting the program and rebooting
the computer, but it still won't come up. Does anyone have
a fix?

Open Internet Explorer > View > enable Status bar. If the settings doesn't stick on next reboot, try this:

* Go to Windows Explorer/View/Status Bar. Then go to Tools/Folder
* Options/View/Apply to all folders. Works for IE as well.
