Depends on how you mean that ? For your Internet/ISP a static
Address IP is a additional cost for most residential accounts. It's
usually a Dynamic Address that does change from time to time.
If you're referring to a LAN (Local Area Network) and you have
a Router you can certainly use a Static IP from the Routers range.
Most home based routers use a 192.168.x.x addressing range.
To specify a Static address, you modify the TCP/IP properties of
your LAC in Network Connections.
