Static IP Address Configuration

I am trying to configure Static IP addresses for my Win 2K
Server. It doesn't save the IP address at all.

The IP address I am assigning is not a part of any DHCP
pool.

Could there be any problem during the installation.?

I also installed Service PAck 3 and nothing works.

Any help?
 
Which IP are you trying to assign? How many nics in your server? What kind
of a nic is it?
