Is there a way to print the complete contents of the "Startup" tab of the
System Configuration Utility?
How we do it?

Hi Octavio,

Use Autoruns instead. It's the best startup manager ever.

AutoRuns for Windows v8.54:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/Autoruns.mspx
To save the listings to a file, use File > Save as option.

If you need to print the System Configuration Utility (which does not scan all the startup entry-points), you may use SysExporter tool from Nir Sofer.

SysExporter: Grab data from list-view, tree-view, combo box, WebBrowser control, and text-box.:

Usage/Example:
Print Windows XP Search results to a file:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/searchresults.htm

Thanks for your advise, Ramesh
I looked at the webiste of Autoruns quickly, and before I go back to it and
try to download it later today or tomorrow, let me ask, it is a free
program? It is a termporary one time use program or it can stay in my
computer? Also, does it takes a lot of space?
Tell me anything else that might pre-educate me about it.
Thanks again.

Answers:

Autoruns is Freeware.

It resides on your computer for reuse as needed. You may need to get a
later update from time to time i.e no automatic updating. This may
change now that it has been absorbed by Microsoft.

Disk space occupied less than 1 mb.

If you open autoruns.txt using Windows Explorer you can print the
list.

You can use Google by right clicking and selecting Google to research
for more information and see what comments others make.

I installed it.
I get a BIG list of items there under each of the tabs. Under "Everything"
I only see three entries, but under the Starup of my msconfig I see a lot.
Which one of the tabs in the Autorun program is the one that contains all
the current entries in my Startup tab of my System Configuration Utility?
(i.e., I am a little confused with all this things shown in the AutoRun.
How do these relate to what is shown in the Starup tab of my System
Configuration Utility?).
Need a little advise.
Thanks again.

Octavia

Click on the Everything tab and place the cursor on the first item in
the list, Select File, Refresh and the list expands.

The way the StartUps are classified is different in Autoruns to
Msconfig. Msconfig only reveals a part of the picture. The real
troublemakers generally stay away from Msconfig.
