StartUP

Hi
On start up, instead of computer eventualy giving me the
stadard windows desktop,on which i can then select start
etc, it gives me an image of the windows icon based on
the two blues background, no links nothing else. Have
tried to startup via F8 in an alternative mode but to no
avail.
Can anuone help?

Do a Repair Install if you have a WinXP CD. Go here for info.
