When I turn on my computer it takes over 2 min. for
windows xp to actually start. Can anyone give me a
solution?
 
Try to reduce the number of programs that start with Windows.

in addition to the last reply use bootvis.exe to optimise
your boot times. You'll find it on the windows disk.
