Hi
I regularly logon to Windows XP HE after my daughter has logged
off. When I do this, I often but not always start up with a blank blue
screen with no taskbar, icons etc. If I then do arestart, all returns to
normal. Anyone have any ideas?

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW

I have given this a try and at the moment it keeps repeatedly asking for
my XP HE disk. I put the disk in and it keeps coming back and asking for
it. Could it be that my XP is at SP 2 and it is looking at older files
on the CD?
