startup sound lag

for a while startup is getting strange
after click the login there is no startup sound coming!!( nothing is wrong with the sound system
then all the desktop items appear
howver in the task bar only the ADSL modem icon appears
after a while the startup sound comes out.
i cannot open my computer icon until the startup sound comes out
then the rest items in the task bar appears.And i can use computer normally

i can't remember anything unusual was done before.(no new hardware adding)( but i found virtual CDGSCSI SCSI nontroller is missing the driver ...not sure when this start.

ps. this morning the problem didn't happen.( normal startup)however after i error check the c disk this problem appears again!!! i'm totally confused.

Have you tried doing a system restore to an earlier time?

Well my friend, it looks to me like you're having either
too many programs in startup or have spyware.
IF you have spyware, download SPywareBlaser, which should
get rid of that, if it's startup, go to start, run, in
run type :msconfig, then go to startup and unselect EVERY
single item!

to kaipoo :yes i did a system restore before!!
to tommy :i tried msconfig to stop the all the startup program but it doensn't help at all!
and i tried to delete the files in prefetch . problem still remains !!

ps i found someother people got the similar problem as i. what should i do????
