Hi Everyone -

In the System Information window under Software Environment, I have a question regarding Startup Programs. How can I stop/delete a Startup Program from running when I turn on my computer? Thanks in advance........ Gino

RegCleaner, the free version of jv16 Power Tools is still available from
http://www.all-freeware.com/
It will allow you to delete any startup entry you wish and it keeps a backup in
case you make a mistake and want one back.

Two easiest ways:
A. Download and install "Startup Control Panel" from: http://www.mlin.net/
.. While there, I would recommend you also get "StartupMonitor" which tells
you when an application is trying to load to the Startup Menu and you can
say Yes/No. Both these are free, small, and very effective.
B. Open a Command Prompt window [Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command
Prompt] and type "msconfig" (minus quote markers) at the blinking cursor,
then press the keyboard "Enter" key. When the "System Configuration Utility"
opens up; click the "Startup" Tab and remove the checkmark next to any
program you do not want loading at Startup.
