Startup Menu

I have accidentaly "dragged" a couple of items from my
startup menu and now they are setting on my desktop. I
have tried dragging them back but it only puts a shortcut
on my startup menu and the original folder/icon still
appears on my desktop. Is there anyway to get these back
in the startup menu and off of my desktop. I have since
disabled the drag and drop feature for the startup menu,
to avoid this in the future. Any help is greatly
appreciated.

Fuzz..
come on....just rename the shortcut...drag it over......then delete it from
your desktop...

Thank you for the info. Didn't mean to sound dumb - just
overly cautious I guess, but thanks for your help.
