I have accidentally "dragged" 2 items from my startup
menu and they now are sitting on my desktop. I have
tried to drag them back but all that does is put a
shortcut on my startup menu and the original folder/icon
is still sitting on my desktop. Is there anyway to get
these back in my startup menu and off of my desktop. I
have since disabled this drag and drop feature from my
startup menu to avoid this in the future. Any help is
greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The items in the start menu are just shortcuts, so you can remove the
shortcuts on the desktop.

Thanks SDC - I didn't realize that it was only a
shortcut - since it didn't have that little "arrow" on
the icon - just a yellow folder. Learning more and more
everyday. Thank you.

Right drag back, and onto some place that then opens in All Programs, On
dropping, take Move Here
