Does anyone remember the address where we can download
various startup list and use it as a guide on what not to
remove from that list under msconfig? I think it was
based in the UK. Very reliable source of info but I've
lost the address. Thanks in advance.

Sharon, IAW PCMagazine, you should disable/uncheck everything in Startu
except your anti-virus program. All other programs can be activated by clickin
their icons. It will make your machine run cleaner, faster and less crash prone
