Just upgraded to XP Home Edition. Previously, Windows
would default to my ISP website when connecting to the
internet. Now it defaults to an invalid link. How do I
correct this? Thanks!
 
Navigate to your ISP's website, then go to Tools, select Internet Options
and click "Use Current" on the General tab under the Address box.
 
Thanks, Michael...I've tried this and the system continues
to default to the other link, completely different than
what is shown in the address window. Any other
suggestions?
 
Yes, Mary, sounds as though your Home Page has been hijacked, see below:

First run a virus scan.

Second, download, install and run the following:
Ad Aware: www.lavasoftusa.com

Check the following site, click the "H" at the top of the page and scroll to
"Home Page Hijacking." Note, you may have to maximize the window in order
to see the alphabet at the top of the page:
