Startup error box

I don't know if I'm asking this question in the correct group but, if not
can someone direct me to the correct group?

Upon reboot, or startup of Windows, I receive the following message box;

"0x6d94d038"

When I click on terminate, another error box appears withthe following;

"C:\windows\system\umdmxfrm.dll"

I would like to get rid of these boxes. They are a pain in the ........
