Hi,

How do i access the command line without loading Windows?

The installation is corrupt and will not load but I need to revover
important data. I thought the best way to do this would be to boot into the
command line and copy the files to floppy disk.

Thanks

Asa

Hi

Depending on which type of XP CD you have - a 'Repair' install will leave
all your programs, settings and files intact.

Hi,

The laptop has developed hardware fault where it keeps switching itself off
after about 4 minutes even while plugged into the mains.

I have tried repairing the installation but there is just not enough time
before the computer switches off.

I need to recover my accounting data so I can transfer it to another PC
before it goes off for repair.

Thanks,

Asa
