Startup after reformatting

I reformatted my hard drive, and now when XP starts I have to select which
windows application I want to use...but they're both XP. How can I get rid
of this, so it just starts up normally?

Hi jcgonzal,

It sounds to me like the partition wasn't formatted, but that XP was
installed within the existing XP installation. For instructions on how to

Probably what has happened is that your boot.ini file has a double entry
and one needs to be deleted. This sometimes happens when reformatting XP.
