starting the Server service of WinXP: lanManServer

I have a problem with starting the Server service of WinXP.
The error is :-
"Could not start the Server Service on Local Computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified."

But the svchost file is there!
Where the problem?
Any answer will be appreciated
