starting programs

Everytime I try to start a program now in XP I get a pop-
up asking which user to run as. How do you turn this
off? How did it get turned on? Is it a virus?

I started having the same problem today!

It may not be a problem. If you're currently logged on to
a limited user
account, some programs will not run. Reasons vary. If a
system
configuration tool or installation program, you must be
logged on with an
account in the administrator group or run the program via
RunAs.

Another common problem appears when a program tries to
write to a folder or
registry key that is off limits to a limited account.
Usually adjustments
to the method used to install the program can resolve
these situations.
