Hi,
I tried a lot, but it didn't work out.... How do I start paging from no.
1 from nth page ?

Say, I want to start paging my document ...but the page no. 1 should
start from the document's actual page 4.. how do I do it ?

I am using office 2007

Put a section break after page 3. No page numbers on the first section.
Start the new section page numbers with 1.

Hi Paules,
I am not so much perfect in msoffice things...

I tried ..but it didn't work out.. all pages numbers became 1 then..
Earlier, I had also tried the steps of microsoft...but the results were the
same...all pages numbers appeared 1

Do you have the first three pages in a different section from the others?

Once you're in the footer for Section 2, you don't just type "1"; you
click "Insert Page Number" and you format your page number to "Start
at 1".

You have also unchecked "Same as Previous," and in the Section 1
footer you delete a page number if one appears there.
