start wav ends short

I am making a theme for my computer but the start wav I am playing stops
after only about a third of it has played. the wav is 57 sec long and
recorded in 8 bit stereo. it plays to the same point everytime and stops.
on the screen the only thing I can see that is happening i sthe virus
protection starts as the sound stops. any advice on how to keep the sound
playing or what is stopping it?

Set your virus protection to exclude .wav files. HTH

sound continues to stop even after anti virus removed any other ideas on how
