Many updates got installed last night on my computer. Adobe, Windows, etc.
and in the morning it does the start up thing until the Windows XP logo
screen. then it blacks out and thats all.

on safe mode, it runs just fine but i couldnt get it to download updates
(cuz i thought they may have downloaded wrong).

also, i know the monitor and the card are reading fine. and in the event
viewer i found an error related to DCOM and pertaining to memory, but i
checked the memory now and its fine.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

What updates were installed? Remove them from add/remove programs. Then do
a system restore to the point before this happened.

Next time install updates one at a time and test in between to make sure
things are working well.
