start up speed

Hi, my windows XP takes about 5min to boot up. I think I have unchecked all the unnecessary programs from the startup. Should it take that long? Is there anyway to speed it up? Mindy

You might want to check the BIOS settings, see if L2 Cache
has been turned off . . . Does Windows run normally after
it comes up ?
