When starting access is there a way to not show the getting started with
Microsoft office access screen?

For access 2007... there doesn't seem to be a tool-option in 2007, unless I
can't find it.

If you are talking about the default Access logo type screen that
always appears when you first start Access, then try this.

Create a graphic file with your deisred scene or information in it.
Save it to the same folder as your database file with the same name as
your database file. For example, if your database file is named:
"MyTest.mdb", you would create your own graphic file and name it
"MyTest.bmp". When Access starts up, it will display your new graphic
file instead of the default Access logo screen.

I have not actually had any occasion yet to try this in 2007 but I
also have not heard anything about it being changed from previous
versions.

Hope this helps.

Nope talking about the first screen that comes up after that. getting rid of
the access logo does work and I do like that feture, I need to find a way to
get rid of the 2007 quick start screen that comes up if you don't start from
a pre-exesting DB
