At start up my computer stops and displays message "NTLDR is missing". I understand that it may be possible to overcome this problem by loading in the Windows XP disk and selecting "restore" option, but I only have UPGRADE disk and not full version. What can I do ?

I believe you may still be able to do the "restore". Only thing that the
Upgrade requires is that if needs to locate "special" files from previous
versions of Windows so as to see if you qualify for the Upgrade license.
