I have vista ultimate greek, and when they start up i always get the message
that the registry editor utility has stoped and not working because of a
problem windows will notify you for a solution....
Any ideas ??

Have you checked the Problem Reports and Solutions (Start > All Programs >
Maintenance) to see if there are any logged solutions that could help
diagnose the problem?

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.

This should repair/replace any damaged system files.

If that does not work, try repairing your system. Boot from your Windows
Vista DVD, select the System Repair Option > on the setup screen, select
'Repair Computer > Select your installation of Windows > select Startup
Repair option and follow instructions.

Also make sure the latest device drivers have been installed and
applications updated.

Thanks for the quick reply, i did the SFC/Scannow it repaired some files but
the pop up message when vista starts is still there i will try to boot the cd
and repair from there hope it works

Thanks again
