start up list - Where is it?

I must be losing my mind but I can't find the list of programs that run at
start up (XP SP2). Where is it?

Take your pick:

Option 1.
Start -> Run and enter msconfig.exe in the Open box.
Click OK.
In the System Configuration Utility, click on the Startup tab.

Option 2.
Start -> Run and enter msinfo32.exe in the Open box.
Click OK.
In the left hand column, click on Software Environment ->
Startup Programs

If you're looking to manage your startup apps, go to this web
site and download the standalone exe version of Startup Control
Panel:

tim, i want to thank you. i found your post and that allowed me to find out
where startup was too.

i thought i was losing my mind, or was going to, cuz i couldn't find it
either.
thanks to this post and the following ones, i now know two things.
1. where to find startup
2. i'm not the only one
