Start up is slow

Is there any way to delete some of the item in my start up sequence.

When I boot up computer it takes a good 3-4 minutes for everything to
"load".

Is there any way to speed this process up?

you can use msconfig tool.

start + run = msconfig

open the startup window. chekbox add/remove
