Start Up Error "syscpy.exe"

This one is new to me too. Every time I start up or
reboot I get an error messege saying "syscpy.exe has
encountered a problem and needs to close." It gives a
choice to send a report and I have done so for about a
week. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. I did
have a virus that Mcafee did clean up. I went throught
every file and even tried to reboot and rebuild with the
XP disc. This is a AMD unit with XP.

Hi Bret,

Start/run msconfig, do you see a reference to it on the startup tab? If so,
disable it. The file is not a Windows file, and is likely not something you
want loading on your system.
