Start>Run>History ?

I should probably already know this, but if I ever did, then I've forgotten it, and haven't had any luck hunting it down (hunting in the wrong spots perhaps).

WIN XP Pro (updates up to date). The ''Run'' history, the box into which one types apps to be run, clears on every reboot. In WIN 98 and 2000 I can use TweakUI to set the "paranoia" settings to either retain or clear the Run history on every reboot. However the WIN XP version of TweakUI doesn't seem to have this capability.

Where would I go to set whatever to make WIN XP retain a memory of the apps run from the Run box?

Go to Start \ Run and enter "gpedit.msc"

Expand "User Configuration", then "Administrative Templates", and click
"Start Menu and Taskbar". Is the "Clear history of recently opened documents
on exist" policy configured?
T'was not; is now. Don't guess I'd ever found that yet and so I did not know where it was before. Thanks. I might even be able to find the registry key now from that hint, not that I'd need to now.
